Con la gracia de Dios, estamos iniciando nuestro año litúrgico 2024 y pronto iniciaremos también el año civil.
En Holy Redeemer y en Our Lady of San Juan estamos listos para recibir las intenciones de nuestros feligreses a lo largo del año, para ofrecerlas en la Eucaristía o el servicio de la palabra. El libro de intenciones abrirá en Diciembre 18, 2023 en la oficina de Holy Redeemer. Puede usted preguntar por la Adriana Orozco, la secretaria de la parroquia y de la misión de Our Lady of San Juan. Los horarios, de lunes a jueves, serán de 9:00 am a 1:00 pm y viernes de 9:00 am a 12:00 pm. Les invito a observar con cuidado las siguientes normas para organizar este registro: Quien registra la intención, tiene que ir personalmente a la oficina para que, en su presencia, se registre su intención correctamente en el libro. No se reciben intenciones por mail box. En cada Eucaristía se permite el registro de dos intenciones y no existen celebraciones con carácter de “exclusividad”, puesto que la salvación no es excluyente sino incluyente.

Si su aniversario, cumpleaños, memoria de difunto o cualquier otra intención encuentra la fecha ocupada, no se preocupe, la bendición de la intención es válida aún si no se celebra en la fecha exacta. En los tiempos de Dios no hay distinción entre uno y otro día, por lo que el efecto de la Eucaristía en el alma de la persona por quien se pide, es el mismo si se ofrece en la fecha exacta o en otra fecha.
Algunas fechas están reservadas para pedir por todo el pueblo de Dios, a eso se le llaman “intenciones propópulo”. En Holy Redeemer y en Our Lady of San Juan, reservamos especialmente las fechas de Misa de Precepto y/o Solemnidades. Sea amable y paciente cuando registre sus intenciones, la persona encargada del registro, además de esa tarea, tiene otras muchas obligaciones que realizar en la oficina. Cualquier otro particular que se presente, podemos tratarlo en la misma oficina, de manera personal. Que Dios escuche nuestras plegarias durante este nuevo año y que esa oración sea elevada con un espíritu de caridad, en comunidad y con la seguridad de que el Señor escucha nuestro ruego.

With the grace of God, we are beginning our liturgical year 2024 and will soon begin the civil year as well. At Holy Redeemer and at Our Lady of San Juan we are ready to receive the intentions of our parishioners throughout the year, to offer them in the Eucharist or the service of the word. Some dates are reserved to pray for all of God’s people, these are called “pro-popular intentions.” At Holy Redeemer and at Our Lady of San Juan, we especially reserve the dates of Holy Obligation Mass and/or Solemnities.
Be kind and patient when recording your intentions, the person in charge of the Mass Intention book, in addition to that task, has many other duties to perform in the office. Any other individual issue/concern that arises, we can deal with it in the same office, personally. May God hear our prayers during this new year and may that prayer be raised in a spirit of charity, in community and with the assurance that the Lord hears our prayer.
