Movement Missionaries Servants of the Word
This movement is made up of young lay people, men and women who, having experienced the power of the word of God in their lives, feel a special call to dedicate themselves to the preaching of the divine message, for a certain time and living the evangelical counsels of chastity. , poverty and obedience, by means of a promise that the young person makes to God, before the community, to serve in evangelization, according to the method of the spirituality of the Missionary Servants of the Word. This movement depends on the Religious Institutes MSP and HMSP.
Formation
The stage prior to apostolic service incorporates several elements common to religious life. This stage, known in our environments as formation, enables the future missionary to live according to the spirituality and method of the Servants of the Word according to five pillars:
- Prayer: Given that a missionary is worth as much as he knows how to pray, the young SEPA (Servidor de la Palabra) must acquire the habit of dialoguing with God through the Liturgy of the Hours, the daily Eucharist, the recitation of the Rosary and an hour of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
- Work: The manual activity helps to forge the character of the missionary, purifies their Spirit and prepares them to be fulfilled in everything that their vocation will demand of them.
- Study: It is an important element for the intellectual growth of the SEPA, given these difficult times.
- Apostolate: The future missionary is exercised in all apostolic means to carry out a better evangelization.
- Community Life: A missionary evangelizes as a member of a community. Therefore he must learn to live charity in the community.
Fruits
This missionary experience has been enriching for the Universal Church. Both the Religious Institutes of the Servants of the Word, as well as the consecrated life of different Institutes and diocesan seminaries, have been enriched with new vocations from the MMSP.

Movimiento Misionero Servidores de la Palabra
Este movimiento está constituido por jóvenes laicos, hombres y mujeres que, habiendo experimentado la fuerza de la palabra de Dios en su vida, sienten un llamado especial de entregarse a la predicación del mensaje divino, durante un tiempo determinado y viviendo los consejos evangélicos de castidad, pobreza y obediencia, mediante una promesa que el joven hace a Dios, ante la comunidad, de servir en la evangelización, según el método de la espiritualidad de los Misioneros Servidores de la Palabra. Este movimiento depende de los Institutos Religiosos MSP y HMSP.
Formación
La etapa previa al servicio apostólico incorpora varios elementos comunes a la vida religiosa. Esta etapa, conocida en nuestros ambientes como formación, capacita al futuro misionero a vivir según la espiritualidad y método de los Servidores de la Palabra de acuerdo a cinco pilares:
- Oración: Dado que un misionero vale tanto cuanto sabe orar, el joven SEPA debe adquirir el hábito de dialogar con Dios a través de la Liturgia de las Horas, la Eucaristía diaria, el rezo del Rosario y una hora de adoración ante el Santísimo Sacramento.
- Trabajo: La actividad manual ayuda a forjar el carácter del misionero, purifica su Espíritu y lo prepara a ser cumplido en todo lo que su vocación le exigirá.
- Estudio: Es un elemento importante para el crecimiento intelectual del SP, dados estos tiempos tan difíciles.
- Apostolado: El futuro misionero es ejercitado en todos los medios apostólicos para realizar una mejor evangelización.
- Vida comunitaria: Un misionero evangeliza siendo miembro de una comunidad. Por tanto, ha de aprender a vivir la caridad en la comunidad.
Frutos
Esta experiencia misionera ha sido enriquecedora para la Iglesia universal. Tanto los Institutos Religiosos de los Servidores de la Palabra, como la vida consagrada de diferentes Institutos y seminarios diocesanos, se han visto enriquecidos con nuevas vocaciones del MMSP.
